Originally from Los Angeles, Alpert has independently released four albums and performed in over 14 countries (United States, Spain, England, Scotland, Holland, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, India, Nepal, Canada, Mexico, Israel, Australia), acquiring radio play on the BBC, PBS, and Triple J.Her music has been featured on well known US TV shows like ABC's Castle, CBS's CSI Miami, MTV's The Real World, Teen Mom and 16 and Pregnant.Underneath the Surface, produced by Brad Smith (Blind Melon), features an ensemble of musicians Jimmy Paxson (drums), Lenny Castro (percussion), Chris Chaney (Bass), Zac Rae (synths), and Stevie Blacke (strings) - who have worked with legends such as Stevie Nicks, Jane’s Addiction, Alanis Morissette and John Mayer. Released in 2010, key influential websites and blogs quickly jumped at the chance to praise the record. Additionally she is a key spokesperson / performing artist for America's Blood Centers' new Speakers' Bureau program 'Conversations About Life'.Jenni Alpert's newest album is produced by Mikal Blue. (Colbie Caillat, Brendan Willing James, Five for Fighting), which is tentatively set for a 2012 summer release.In the Netherlands, her sophomore full length album 'No Second Guesses' received strong radio play and Alpert was invited to do a series of live radio shows hitting most of the Netherlands pop radio airwaves: 'Shouting Boots' Radio 6, Radio 5 at Oba live, Tros Radio Muziekcafe Radio 2, Radio One at Link Atlas, V-radio/Veronica 'studio Schram' and support the UK artist Jon Allen on his Dutch tour and made her want to come back for more. Plans are currently being made for a European tour in late 2012. Jenni’s most recent release 'Underneath the Surface' (produced by Brad Smith of Blind Melon) captures her more eclectic-pop side.
