Richard Leo Gedman (born September 26, 1959) is a former Major League Baseball catcher and left-handed batter who played with the Boston Red Sox (1980–1990), Houston Astros (1990–1991) and St. Louis Cardinals (1991–1992). He currently serves as hitting coach with the AA Eastern League's Portland Sea Dogs.
