1Son of film director Andrew L. Stone and film editor Virginia L. Stone (née Lively). Younger brother of assistant director L. Andrew Stone.
2In addition to being a talented composer, he recently launched a sonic technology company, "Audio Impressions", devoted to cutting-edge music composing systems.
3In an uncredited role, he was responsible for creating the voices of the evil dwarf creatures, not only in the original Phantasm (1979), but in every subsequent sequel. Using then experimental electronic equipment including the Vocoder, and his own voice, he was able to craft a disturbing quality for these sound effects.
4He holds the distinction of having worked on every one of the Phantasm films.
