Ashley Gorley is an American songwriter and producer. He is a 1999 graduate of Belmont University and in 2001 signed with Combustion Music Publishing. In 2006, he co-wrote Carrie Underwood's "Don't Forget to Remember Me", which went to number 2 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Since that song, he has co-written over 100 songs by over 50 artists. In 2008 and 2009 he won the Triple Play Award, which is given to songwriters who write three number 1 singles in a one-year span. Also in 2008 and 2009, he was on Billboard's list of 'Top Ten Writers Of The Year'. He has been nominated for two Grammy Awards and was the 2009 ASCAP Songwriter of the year. Ashley also has a joint venture with his publishing company, Combustion Music, through which he has two writers, Matt Jenkins and Zach Crowell signed to him.Number 1 singles that Gorley composed include "All-American Girl" and "Good Girl" by Carrie Underwood, "Start a Band" and "Then" by Brad Paisley, "It Won't Be Like This for Long" by Darius Rucker; other notable Top 10 compositions of his are Paisley's "American Saturday Night" and Jason Aldean's "Laughed Until We Cried".
