He could be the cofounder of Cruel and Unusual Films, a production firm he created in 2004, alongside his wife Deborah Snyder and making partner Wesley Coller. His first family film was the 2010 animated family adventure film “Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole”, predicated on the initial three novels of the collection by Kathryn Lasky. His latest movie, “Man of Steel”, premiered in America on June 14, 2013. After that month it had been declared that Snyder would direct and write the story for “Man of Steel”‘s sequel, after titled “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”.
In November 2012, Snyder proclaimed he wouldn’t be involved with the development of Star Wars Episode VII. Guess swirled again in January 2013, when Vulture reported he would be developing a Star Wars spin off movie inspired by Seven Samurai. But this report was later denied as gossip by Snyder’s representative. As of March 2013, it had been rumored that Zack Snyder may be attached to the long in progress Justice League film. These reports never have been verified yet. Snyder is set to direct a Man of Steel sequel. Cavill will reprise his role as Superman and declared in August 2013 that Ben Affleck would play Batman. In April 2014, Snyder was declared by Warner Bros. to direct the Justice League movie after completing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Quote
1
[on presenting his male protagonists with superhuman physiques] I have always been influenced by the fantasy art of Frank Frazetta and obsessed with the potential of humanity's physicality.
2
[promoting Watchmen (2009) and before he was hired for Man of Steel (2013)] In this world, if Superman really existed, he'd grab all the world leaders together in a room and say, 'Behave or I'll kill you.'
3
[For me] Superman is this adopted son, this immigrant story, this guy trying to find his place in the world. What's his purpose, what is he supposed to do, how is he supposed to be?
4
[on the Superman character] All the movies I've made, I've made with a slight bit of irony. Not even a slight bit. A fair amount. But the ironic part of [ 'Man of Steel'] is that it's not ironic. You know what I mean? No tongue in cheek, no winking at the camera, no apologies. It's Superman. He deserves that. In my mind, we really had to act as if no films had been made. It's like we just found this comic book lying on the ground under a bed, and we were like, This would be a cool movie.
5
[on Man of Steel (2013)] I think it's drawing on all mythology; comic book, religion, ancient, philosophical.
6
It's difficult to find a movie that feels true to itself. You feel the hand of Hollywood, the moviemaking by committee, on everything.
