William Sampson was born on April 17, 1959 in Middleton, Nova Scotia, Canada. He was a cinematographer and writer, known for Confessions of an Innocent Man (2007), No More Biscuits Mrs Heraty, We Need to Save the World! (2012) and The Question (2012). He died on March 29, 2012 in Penrith, Cumbria, England.
Spent three years in a prison in Saudi Arabia where he was tortured by prison officials after he was falsely accused of bombing attacks that occurred in the country.
