Willard Maas was born on June 24, 1906 in the USA. He was a director and actor, known for Narcissus (1958), Geography of the Body (1943) and Mechanics of Love (1955). He was married to Marie Menken. He died on January 2, 1971.
He and wife Marie Menken and their turbulent relationship were the basis for the characters of Martha and George in Edward Albee's "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?".
