Gerald P. "Jerry" Regier (born 1945) is an American businessman and politician from Oklahoma who is best known as founder and first President of the Family Research Council.Regier has previously served in numerous positions within the Administration of Governor of Oklahoma Frank Keating, including Keating's Oklahoma Secretary of Health and Human Services (1997–2002). In addition to his service as Secretary, Regier served concurrently as the Executive Director of the Oklahoma Office of Juvenile Affairs.
