#Fact
1As a teenager, he used to forage through the dumpsters outside the Van Nuys facility of Industrial Light and Magic, looking for souvenirs.
2While applying for a job at ILM, Bill brought along his home made Y-Wing fighter model (from Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977)). It was eventually used in Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983) as the new Y-Wing 'hero' model when the original two versions proved unsuitable.
