Calum MacDonald was born on November 12, 1953 in Lochmaddy, North Uist, Scotland. He is a director and writer, known for Runrig: Day of Days (2004), The Mermaid (2005) and Runrig: Live at Stirling Castle (1997).
Along with his older brother Rory MacDonald, Calum is a founding member of the astonishingly successful Gaelic rock band, Runrig -- which first performed in 1973.
