Patricia Zipprodt (February 24, 1925 — July 17, 1999) was an American costume designer. She was known for her technique of painting fabrics and thoroughly researching a project's subject matter, especially when it was a period piece. During a career that spanned four decades, she worked with such Broadway theatre legends as Jerome Robbins, Hal Prince, Gower Champion, David Merrick, and Bob Fosse.
Won Broadway's Best Costume Designer Tony Award three times: in 1965 for "Fiddler on the Roof;" in 1967 for "Cabaret;" and in 1986 for "Sweet Charity." She was also Tony-nominated seven other times: in 1969 for "Zorba;" in 1973 for "Pippin;" in 1975, for "Mack and Mabel;" in 1976 for "Chicago;" in 1983 for "Alice in Wonderland;" in 1984, for "Sunday in the Park with George," a nominationn shared with Ann Hould-Ward; and in 1991 for "Shogun, The Musical."
