Darrell Trent Smith (born on September 15, 1979 in Norman, Oklahoma) was a tight end in the National Football League. He played college football for the University of Oklahoma. He last played for the San Francisco 49ers. Before college stardom, Smith was a Redoak Ram for Redoak Elementary School in Moore, Oklahoma. He was also a Brink bobcat for Brink Junior High, also located in Moore, Oklahoma. He was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the 7th round (223rd overall) in the 2003 NFL Draft.Trent currently owns Sooner Medical Staffing, Sooner Technologies, and Corinthian Investments all based out of Oklahoma City.
