Phil Gordon was born on May 5, 1916 in Meridian, Mississippi, USA as Phil Gulley. He is known for his work on Green Acres (1965), -30- (1959) and The Beverly Hillbillies (1962). He died on June 15, 2010 in Mobile, Alabama, USA.
Was a jazz musician in the 1940s and 1950s before settling in California and finding acting work on film and TV. Later became a dialog coach and hosted a children's variety series in New Orleans and Mobile during the 1960s.
