Ferenc Zenthe (born Ferenc Rameshofer; 20 April 1920. Salgóbánya – 30 July 2006, Budapest) was a Hungarian actor, honored with being chosen as an Actor of the Nation, the Kossuth Prize and the Meritorious Artist Award of Hungary. Best known from the historical series A Tenkes Kapitánya and pioneering soap opera Szomszédok, he was regarded as one of the great talents of his generation.
Was a regular voice actor in the Hungarian radio soap opera "Szabó család" from the late 1950s until his death. In fact he portrayed two different characters during the show: the first one had to be killed because of his commitment to the filming of A Tenkes kapitánya (1964), but after thousands of fan letters requesting his "resurrection" he had to be given another role.

Best known to Hungarian audiences from his two famous (and very different) roles on television: the heroic adventurer Máté Eke in A Tenkes kapitánya (1964) and the aging taxi driver Uncle Taki in soap opera Szomszédok (1987).

One son: Ferenc Jr. (b. 1953), two grandchildren: Kata (b. 1988) and Ádám (b. 1991).
