1When the Four Tops first recorded one of their biggest hits "Reach Out (I'll Be There), Stubbs was uncomfortable with the key the song was written in; voicing that it was too high. The Producrers claimed to have understand yet kept the key the way it was in order for Stubbs to portray the range of emotion that they were looking for in his performance.
