Jon Hein is an American radio personality and former webmaster. He created the web site jumptheshark.com and works for “The Howard Stern Show”. The two also were a portion of the comedy troupe Only Kidding.
The Stern Show staff believed Hein was an excellent host on Super Fan Roundtable and selected him to function as the host of The Wrap-Up Show with Stern producer Gary Dell’Abate as cohost. The show premiered on Howard’s first day on Sirius, January 9, 2006, and has got very favorable reviews from fans. Hein has become known as a fast food aficionado. He’s vocalized his distaste for the fast food eatery Burger King. Hein was subjected into a blindfolded taste test of hamburgers on Howard 101’s “The Fast Food Show”, where he accurately identified a Burger King, McDonald’s, and Wendy’s hamburger patty. Hein declared about the August 17, 2010 Howard Stern Show he now weighed 255 lbs. but refused to give up fast food. Hein declared about the January 17, 2008 Stern show he fixes his insulin levels in order to indulge in junk food, like his favourite Oreo cupcake from Crumbs cupcakes. Beginning on March 2, 2010, Hein hosts the weekly humor The Bonus Show with Rachel Fine on Howard TV.

Started the web site "jumpedtheshark.com", dedicated to pointing out when a television show had gone too far and was just ridiculous. Took the name from the Happy Days (1974) episode in which the Fonz jumped a shark with his motorbike. Recently (2006) sold the site to TV Guide, reportedly for over a million dollars.
