Fran Jeffries was born on May 18, 1937 in San Jose, California, USA as Frances Makris. She is an actress, known for The Pink Panther (1963), The Bob Hope Christmas Special (1973) and Sex and the Single Girl (1964). She was previously married to Steven Schaeffer, Richard Quine and Dick Haymes.
Daughter, with Dick Haymes: Stephanie Haymes (Taupin) Roven was born in 1959.

Fran's second husband, actor-turned-director Richard Quine, featured her in a couple of his films: Sex and the Single Girl (1964) and A Talent for Loving (1969). Quine's first wife was actress Susan Peters, who was shot and paralyzed after her gun accidentally discharged and a bullet lodged in her spine while she and Quine were on a hunting trip in San Diego. Quine committed suicide in 1989 after years of poor health.

Before she became a solo act, she partnered in clubs with then-husband crooner Dick Haymes. They separated in 1961, but did not divorce until 1965.
