# Trademark 1 Never being seen directly on camera 2 Wry, sardonic low-key voice 3 Well-known for providing the voice to "Garfield" the cat on numerous television specials, series, and commercials.
# Fact 1 He can still be heard on radio stations in a series of commercial spots, starring Vince and Larry, the crash test dummies. The series of commercials -- of which there are currently three -- are new versions of a series of TV ads, which he did with Jack Burns . Burns is the voice of Vince; Music is Larry. 2 He was cremated and his ashes were scattered at sea. 3 For short while, he was the unofficial spokesman for "Chick Fil-A" & "Pizza Hut" doing mostly voice-over, radio ad commercials. 4 Never being seen on Rhoda (1974) as Carlton the doorman - and becoming well-known for it - gave him the idea of never being photographed directly in public or on film. Either he'd have something blocking his face, or he'd only be seen in silhouette. 5 The voice of Peter Venkman in The Real Ghostbusters (1986) and Garfield in numerous cartoons. Peter Venkman was played by Bill Murray in Ghostbusters (1984). Bill Murray is the voice of Garfield in Garfield (2004): The Movie. 6 He and his wife, Henrietta, formed a comedy duo that lasted eight years. 7 Best known as the drunken, unseen doorman Carlton on Rhoda (1974) and as the voice of Garfield on TV -- both voice roles. 8 Co-wrote The Bob Newhart Show (1972) theme song with his wife Henrietta. 9 Raised in Duluth, Minnesota; he attended the University of Minnesota, where he met his future wife. 10 According to his wife, Music took the first name Lorenzo for spiritual reasons. 11 Children: daughters Roz and Leilani; sons Fernando and Sam. 12 Father of Roz Music .
