Astrid Kirchherr Bio/Wiki, Net Worth, Married 2018
Astrid Kirchherr (born 20 May 1938), is a German photographer and artist and is well known for her association with the Beatles (along with her friends Klaus Voormann and Jürgen Vollmer), and her photographs of the Beatles during their Hamburg days: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Stuart Sutcliffe and Pete Best.Kirchherr met artist Sutcliffe in the Kaiserkeller bar in Hamburg in 1960, where he was playing bass with the Beatles, and was later engaged to him, before his death in 1962. Although Kirchherr has taken very few photographs since 1967, her early work has been exhibited in Hamburg, Bremen, London, Liverpool, New York City, Washington, D.C., Tokyo, Vienna and at the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. She has published three limited-edition books of photographs.
Never received a cent for any of her Beatles photographs (now considered classics); she'd given the prints to the band or to the press as requested, figuring they were "pictures of friends", and was disappointed later to see them credited to press agencies, or imitated by other photographers. (She never blamed the band.)

Dated Stuart Sutcliffe until his untimely death (at age 21) from a brain hemorrhage. Their relationship is explored in depth in the movie Backbeat (1994).

Met The Beatles through then-boyfriend Klaus Voormann, who'd ventured into a club they were playing one night after the two had quarreled, liked the band, and got acquainted with them. Astrid and then-bass player Stuart Sutcliffe fell sharply in love, with Klaus remaining as friend to both.
