Edward W. “Ted” Harbert III (created June 15, 1955) is a veteran American broadcast and television executive. In 2004, Harbert was named to the job of president, E! Networks. When Harbert prolonged his contract with Comcast in 2010, it had been noted that E!, specifically, had been a “huge success” under his auspices, reaching six straight years of record evaluations. Harbert was named to his present place in 2011, following Comcast’s acquisition of NBC Universal. He’s responsible for NBC Marketing Sales, the NBC Owned Television Stations, Affiliate Connections, Network Research, National Television Distribution, NBC Universal Digital Entertainment and Special Occasions. In 2013, it had been declared that Harbert would manage NBC Late Night.
