Jerry Richardson Bio/Wiki, Net Worth, Married 2018

Following his NFL career, Richardson embarked on a fruitful business career. Richardson used his 1959 NFL tournament bonus together with assistance from Charles Bradshaw to start the initial Hardee’s Franchise in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The two ended up possessing the Hardee’s company 50/50. The company expanded quickly, under his hands on management style. From headquarters in Spartanburg, he co-founded Spartan Foods which was the initial franchisee of Hardee’s. He afterwards was the CEO of Flagstar, that was the sixth biggest food service business in the country, commanding 2,500 eateries and 100,000 workers, and retired in 1995. Richardson is the sole individual to be inducted into the North Carolina and South Carolina Company and Athletic Halls of Fame. A lifelong resident of the Carolinas, Richardson’s vision was to bring NFL football to his home area. Richardson is famous for his calm and businesslike strategy, and has played a notable part in discussions between the NFL and NFL players. It’d long been presumed that Richardson meant to have his sons, Mark along with the late Jon (who died in July 2013 from cancer), inherit the team. Nevertheless, Richardson pushed them outside just before the 2009 season. Considering that the passing of Ralph Wilson in 2014, Richardson is one of just two NFL owners (Houston Texans owner Robert C. McNair being the other) to have possessed his various team for its whole history.
