3Born in 1935, Peter S. Fischer was resident in a small Long Island town and was the editor and publisher of a small magazine about cars until 1970, when he successfully sold a script for a TV movie, "The Last Child". Fischer's success with this script led him to relocate to California and to take up TV writing full-time.
