After Meg graduated from Indiana University, Cabot moved to NYC, using the initial intention of working as an illustrator. in 1991. Nevertheless, Meg Cabot soon leave this job and began working as an assistant supervisor of the freshman dormitory at New York University. Meg Cabot wed fiscal writer and poet Benjamin D. Egnatz on April 1, 1993. The wedding was truly an elopement in Italy. Her novel Every Boy’s Got One is broadly predicated on her very own elopement.
