Hale Rice Hamilton (February 28, 1880 - May 19, 1942) was an American actor, writer and producer. He was born in Topeka, Kansas. (His birth year is also given as 1879 and 1883.)Hamilton was married to three actresses, Jane Oaker, Myrtle Tannehill, and Grace La Rue. Tannehill sued Hamilton, accusing him of being lured away from her by La Rue.He died of a cerebral hemorrhage in Hollywood, California.
