Antonio Thomas was born on September 23, 1980 in Springfield, Massachusetts, USA as Thomas Matera. He is an actor, known for WWE Sunday Night Heat (1998), WWE A.M. Raw (2005) and Survivor Series (2005).
In April 2005, "William Regal" (Darren Matthews) and "Tajiri" (Yoshihiro Tajiri) successfully defended their World Tag Team Championships against the debuting "Romeo" (Giovanni Roselli) and "Antonio" (Thomas), known collectively as "The Heart Throbs". They would go on to participate in a Tag-Team Turmoil match for the World Tag Team Championship at WWE Backlash.

The Heart Throbs, who have portrayed heels, mainly appeared on the RAW B-show, HEAT. They have had short-lived feuds with William Regal and Eugene, Hurricane and Rosey, and V-Squared (Val Venis and Viscera) but have mainly been used as jobbers.
