Henri Jeanson was born on March 6, 1900 in Paris, France. He was a writer and director, known for Fan-Fan the Tulip (1952), Un revenant (1946) and The Black Tulip (1964). He was married to Claude Marcy. He died on November 6, 1970 in Équemauville, Calvados, France.
French playwright and screenwriter of strong pacifist convictions, an ardent advocate of free expression. He began as a journalist and film critic in the 1920's. After World War II, he became editor of Le Canard Enchaîné and later contributed articles to the publication under the alias Huguette ex-Micro.
