Ted Lowe was born on November 1, 1920 in Lambourn, Berkshire, England as Edward Lowe. He was a writer, known for Number One (1985), Happy Birthday BBC Two (2004) and World Championship Snooker (1973). He was married to Jean. He died on May 1, 2011.
