As a pilot based there for a number of years, he got to know the country very well and was always humbled by the innate elegance of the people and their unrelenting determination to be educated."The partnership with UNICEF is the second public project of the Trust, after the creation of The Lir - National Academy of Dramatic Art in Dublin which was established in collaboration with Trinity College Dublin and the Cathal Ryan Trust, with the involvement of the internationally renowned Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in London.
