Cedric Henning Belfrage (8 November 1904 – 21 June 1990) was a film critic, journalist, writer, and political activist. He is best remembered as a co-founder of the radical US-weekly newspaper the National Guardian.
London-born socialist writer who, at various times, worked as a newspaper man, press agent, script reader at Universal studios and film critic (apparently, so acerbic in the latter capacity, that he was 'ejected from four studios' and ended up being deported from the United States during the McCarthy era). Co-founded the radical paper National Guardian.
