Brian B. Thompson is a BAFTA-nominated British television, theatre and radio writer whose work includes BBC1's Byker Grove, for which he penned over 50 episodes, Grafters, The Bill and Coronation Street. He also created the continuing detective series Trueman and Riley, broadcast on BBC7 and BBC Radio 4 from 2002 to present (Producer, Toby Swift).
