Boaz Yakin (born June 20, 1966) is an American screenwriter and film director based in New York City. He has written such screenplays as Fresh and A Price Above Rubies, and he directed the feature film Remember the Titans, among others.
Formed production company, Raw Nerve, with film directors Eli Roth and Scott Spiegel, which focuses on producing horror films.

Was set to direct the doomed "Batman Beyond" project that became "Batman Year One," which was set to be directed by Darren Aronofsky. "Batman Year One" was also shut down and Christopher Nolan took over the project. That project in the end became Batman Begins (2005).
