Andrew Davidson was born on November 19, 1981 in Glasgow, Scotland as Andrew Robert Davidson. He is a writer and director, known for Autumn Heart (2003), Limbo (2003) and Quondam (2004).
He and Amy Kemp were old friends from high school. Andrew had promised to cast Amy in the first film that he made. Honouring that promise, Amy starred as Angelica in Andrew's first short film Limbo (2003) opposite Darren McAree, and later had a cameo as the voice of James Hadley's wife in Autumn Heart (2003). James Hadley was played by Darren McAree.

He met actor Darren McAree at a friend's party. Darren overheard him say that he was directing a short film and introduced himself. Andrew drunkenly offered Darren the part of Warner Roberts in his first short film Limbo (2003), and Darren drunkenly accepted. The rest, as they say, is history.
