Adam Zwar (born 13 January 1972) is a multi award-winning Australian actor, voice artist, and writer. He is best known for co-creating the Australian comedy series Lowdown, Wilfred and creating the popular factual series Agony Aunts, Agony Uncles and The Agony of Life. Zwar has also appeared in the feature films The Wedding Party and Rats and Cats.
The acclaimed short-film Wilfred (2002) was inspired by a bad date he went on in November 2001.

He was born in Cairns. His parents bought the family home from actor Leo McKern.

His mother, Delphine, was a long-time writer for House and Garden magazine.

His father is author Desmond Zwar, who wrote the best selling book "The Loneliest Man in the World" about Nazi prisoner, Rudolf Hess. It would later inspire the movie, Wild Geese II (1985). Desmond also wrote the books "This Wonderful World of Golf"; "In Search of Sir Keith Murdoch" and the soon to be released "The Queen, Rupert and Me".
