Theo Walcott won the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year Award in 2006. Theo Walcott is an item of the Southampton Academy and began his career with Southampton before joining Arsenal for 5 million in 2006. His rapid rate and ball crossing led his manager Arsne Wenger to deploy him on the wing for most of his career. In the 2012-13 season, a contract dispute led him to being played as a striker, before returning in the 201314 season playing on the wing once more. On 30 May 2006, Theo Walcott became England’s youngest ever senior football player aged 17 years and 75 days. He’s represented England at the 2006 World Cup and Euro 2012 and has 36 caps, scoring five goals.
