Michelle Kwan Bio/Wiki, Net Worth, Married 2018
Michelle Wingshan Kwan (created July 7, 1980) is a retired American figure skater. She’s a two time (1998 and 2002) Olympic medalist, a five-time (1996, 1998, 2000, 2001 and 2003) World champion as well as a nine-time (1996, 1998–2005) U.S. winner (the all time record, as tied with Maribel Vinson-Owen).
She competed in a higher level for more than a decade and is the most decorated figure skater in U.S. history. Known for her uniformity and expressive artistry on ice, she’s widely regarded as among the best figure skaters ever.
For well over a decade, Kwan kept her standing not only as America’s hottest figure skater but as one of America’s most popular female athletes. During her reign Kwan got numerous important endorsement deals, starred in multiple TV specials and was the subject of considerable media coverage. Kwan was likewise the highest paid skater on the Champions on Ice tours.
Kwan looked in the 2005 Worlds as a learning experience in the ISU Judging System. She continued to train and said that she’d try to be eligible for the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin, Italy. Nevertheless, adhering to a hip injury, she was made to pull away from her three planned contests in the autumn of 2005. One week after, she filed a request together with the USFSA to get a medical waiver to be positioned to the 2006 Olympic figure skating team.
