Mark Sanchez Bio/Wiki, Net Worth, Married 2018
He was drafted in the very first round of the 2009 NFL Draft as the fifth overall pick from the New York Jets as well as the next quarterback chosen overall. He played college football in the University of Southern California (USC).
Sanchez grew up in a well-disciplined and fit family. In the eighth grade, he started to play football and learn the intricacies of the quarterback position, preparing along with his dad, Nick. A well-regarded prospect, Sanchez dedicated to Southern California following his successful high school career where he led his team into a tournament title during his final season. Sanchez also became popular inside the community because of his Mexican American tradition.
Although USC coach Pete Carroll and several scouts considered him too inexperienced, Sanchez declared his intent to enter the 2009 NFL Draft. He was chosen by the Jets as soon as they traded up with the Cleveland Browns, and was named the starting quarterback before the start of season. Together with the triumph on the New England Patriots the week earlier, Sanchez tied four other quarterbacks for the second most post-season road triumphs with a quarterback in NFL history. In leading the Jets to two straight conference tournaments, Sanchez joined quarterback Ben Roethlisberger as the sole two quarterbacks in NFL history to achieve the conference title in their initial two seasons in the league.
The following two seasons will be a regression for the team and Sanchez as they failed to get to the playoffs. Buffs and media critics called to get a fighting Sanchez to be benched. He eventually was replaced near the conclusion of the 2012 season with Greg McElroy. Sanchez suffered a season-ending shoulder injury throughout the preseason in 2013; he was released following the season ended.
