Walter William "Walt" Weiss (born November 28, 1963) is a former shortstop in Major League Baseball and current manager of the Colorado Rockies.Weiss was a member of the 1998 National League All-Star Team. He also won the 1988 Rookie of the Year award.
Shortstop with the American League's Oakland Athletics, 1987-1992; and the National League's Florida Marlins (1993), Colorado Rockies (1994-1997), and Atlanta Braves (1998-2000).
