Shalimar is a women’s fragrance originally created by Jacques Guerlain in 1921 as a classic soft amber (Oriental) parfum, and currently produced by Guerlain.
Became an overnight sensation in her native country Switzerland, when a documentary about her, called Heidi im Pornoland (1996) (German for "Heidi in porn land"; "Heidi" is a little orphan girl in a famous Swiss novel), was shown in TV in 1996 and had over one million people watching it. Shalimar (real name Laetitia Bisset) turned into a popular subject of the "yellow press" for many weeks and months.
