1Animator, trained under Norman McLaren at the National Film Board of Canada. With UPA from 1955, later taking over their London operation. Remained in England after the unit's closure, and formed his own company. An expert at glass work and pencil animation. He was best known for his work on The Beatles feature 'Yellow Submarine'.
2Responsible for creating copies of the 3-panel "Polyvision" finale of "Napoleon" (albeit illegally) for Kevin Brownlow before the original print was lost. Thus, Dunning saved one of the greatest pieces of cinema.
