Tod Sloan was born on August 10, 1874 in Bunker Hill, Indiana, USA as James Forman Sloan. He was an actor, known for Determination (1920), The Killer (1921) and Hot Heels (1927). He was married to Betty Saxon Maloney and Julia Sanderson. He died on December 21, 1933 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
He was the "Yankee Doodle" in the George M. Cohan Broadway musical "Little Johnny Jones" and the basis for the Ernest Hemingway short story "My Old Man".
