Keanu Reeves was the first male in my life to address me as "ma'am". We were rehearsing a scene together during the filming of "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey" and it was quite a shock. I thought I was distinctly a Broadway Baby newly arrived in Hollywood from New York City. I don't quite imagine I'll ever get over it.
