Terrence "Terry" Griffiths OBE (born 16 October 1947) is a retired Welsh snooker player and current snooker coach and pundit. He won the World Championship in 1979 at the first attempt, and reached the 1988 final. He also won the Masters in 1980 and the UK Championship in 1982, making him one of nine players to have completed snooker's triple crown. He was renowned for his slow, highly cautious style of play.
Is renowned as a coach and has coached many top players like Mark Williams, Marco Fu, Mark Allen, Ali Carter, Joe Perry, Barry Hawkins, Stephen Hendry and Stephen Maguire.

Won the 1979 World Championship defeating Perrie Mans, Alex Higgins, Eddie Charlton and Dennis Taylor.

Won the Welsh Amateur Championship in 1975 and the English Amateur Championship in 1977 and 1978 before turning professional.
