Bill Fraser was born on June 5, 1908 in Perth, Scotland as William Simpson Fraser. He was an actor, known for Bootsie and Snudge (1960), Flesh and Blood (1980) and The Corn Is Green (1979). He was married to Pamela Cundell. He died on September 5, 1987 in Bushey, Hertfordshire, England.
At the age of twenty ran his own repertory company at Worthing. Acted on stage with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the British National Theatre, having made his debut at the West End in 1939. Served with the RAF during World War II. In later years, toured Australia and appeared at the Canadian George Bernard Shaw Festival. Film roles small, but popular on television in shows like Bootsie and Snudge (1960) and Rumpole of the Bailey (1978).
