1Stephen played Puck in a production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in which William Hurt was virtually naked. He did a chorus-style kick line with Peter Gallagher in "Company" and portrayed Christ on the cross for a production of "Mother Courage" in which Linda Hunt sang while plucking a chicken. More recently, Stephen played an FBI agent interrogating Patrick Wang in "Surveillances". Stephen and Patrick first worked together when Stephen directed "The Water Engine" for Patrick's theatre company in Boston.
2Stephen acted in summer stock at the Priscilla Beach Theatre with Peter Gallagher in "Company" and later with Linda Hunt in "Mother Courage" with the Boston Shakespeare Company.
