Robert Dougall was born on November 27, 1913 in Croydon, London, England as Robert Neill Dougall. He was an actor, known for Stars on Sunday (1969), Nine O'Clock News (1970) and Very Like a Whale (1980). He was married to Nan Byam. He died on December 19, 1999.
Became an announcer with BBC Radio Empire Service on his 21st birthday in 1934. The only one of those original announcers to make a successful TV career.
