Robert Marsden ((1921-08-22)22 August 1921 - 5 April 2007(2007-04-05)) was a British actor, director, dramatic recitalist and teacher of drama at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and elsewhere. He was also one of the earliest (and latest surviving) wartime members of the BBC Radio Drama Repertory Company, formed to meet the circumstances of World War II.
Also a drama coach from the 1960s until failing eyesight and overall health encouraged his retirement.

Primarily an actor on stage and radio, he sometimes served as a stage director and portrayed Abraham Lincoln in many shows and in an episode of "Doctor Who" in 1965.

Began his career on the Shakespearean stage at Stratford-on-Avon in 1940 and joined the BBC Drama Repertory Company a few years later.
