Marilyn was born on November 3, 1962 in Kingston, Jamaica as Peter Anthony Robinson. He is an actor, known for Whatever Happened to the Gender Benders? (2005), 25 Years of Smash Hits (2003) and Steppin' Out (1979).
He briefly retired from the industry until 2001, when he made a series of successful club appearances and a greatest hits album was released. He is still in demand for interviews and TV appearances. [2001]

Marilyn and his mother returned to Britain after his parents split up when he was 18 months old. Mother had worked for a Nottingham England television company (c 1980s).
