Paul was to perform the Flying Trapeze with Cheryl Richardson and Sylver Gregory on Circus of the Stars XVII. During the final rehearsal, Paul suffered a broken arm from a fall to the net during his "Passing Leap" trick with Cheryl. Filling for Paul during opening night was his co-trainer, Richie Gaona.
