Paul Norell (born 11 February 1952) is an English actor residing in Auckland, New Zealand. He is known for his portrayal as the King of the Dead in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Some of his other credits include Power Rangers S.P.D., Xena: Warrior Princess and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. He attended the Ring*Con 2004. Paul has one brother who is a former actor and now teaches Drama in the UK; his name is David Norell. He has another brother, Michael Norell, who works as a cardiologist in the UK.
When Return of the King won the Best Movie 2004 at the 2004 Oscars, random clips were played on the screen above the satge, he was featured in the clip as The King of the Dead, and is very proud of the moment his character was shown.
