Pat Paterson (7 April 1910 – 24 August 1978) was an Anglo-Scottish film actress, born in Bradford, West Riding of Yorkshire, England. Though she made over 20 films, she is most famous for being the wife of French-born actor Charles Boyer and for the death of their only child, Michael, by self-inflicted gunshot at the age of 21.
Former child actress who had a desultory career in Hollywood B-movies in the 1930's. Effectively retired after a bit part in her only major film, Idiot's Delight (1939). Her only son with Charles Boyer, Michael Charles Boyer, shot himself in 1965 during a drunken party in Hollywood.
